That film clocked in as a blockbuster hit (to say the least -- grossing a reported 484 million dollars worldwide) and paved the way for several sequels, with the first two also directed by Adamson. Then, beginning in 2004, Walden Media tapped Adamson to write, direct, and executive produce the first two adaptations of the Chronicles of Narnia books by British author C.S. Lewis: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2007). Audiences turned the franchise into a massive hit and a cash cow for Walden and Walt Disney Pictures, which laid the groundwork for many successive installments. David Boreanaz (Actor)
Born: May 16, 1969
Birthplace: Buffalo, New York, United States
Trivia: Look up the words "handsome" and "brooding" in any dictionary and chances are you'll have a pretty good description of actor David Boreanaz. Tall, dark, and possessing the sort of alluring charisma that suggests an Abercrombie and Fitch model from the dark side, Boreanaz flourished on the small screen in the early 2000s when his Buffy the Vampire Slayer role was spun off into the supernatural-flavored series Angel.Born in Buffalo, NY, and raised in Philadelphia, Boreanaz was inspired at age seven to pursue a career in acting after witnessing the legendary Yul Brynner's performance in The King and I. In the years that followed, the aspiring actor would strive to keep the dream alive, and when it came time for higher education, Boreanaz opted to study his craft at Ithaca College in New York. The allure of a life in films soon drew Boreanaz to Los Angeles, although it wouldn't take him long to realize that struggling actors were a dime a dozen in sunny California. Dreams of his name in lights soon gave way to realities such as earning a living by parking cars and handing out towels at a sports club -- and uncredited parts in such films as Aspen Extreme and Best of the Best 2 (both 1993) certainly weren't paying the rent. A one-time role on Married...With Children as daughter Kelly's (Christina Applegate) motorcycle-riding boyfriend gained the struggling actor modest exposure -- and his luck would soon change in the most unexpected (though somewhat typical by Hollywood standards) way. While Boreanaz was walking his dog in Hollywood, a manager was taken by his captivating intensity, and a subsequent introduction to casting agent Marcia Shulman almost immediately ensured his landing the role of the vampire Angel on the soon-to-be-hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Two years after the premiere of Buffy, Boreanaz's character proved popular enough to earn his own eponymously titled spin-off series, and the show proved a solid hit for the WB until it was inexplicably canceled in mid-2004. Of course, by this point, Boreanaz could rest fairly easy thanks to roles in such features as Valentine (2001) and I'm With Lucy (2002). Fans who couldn't get enough of the actor's dark side could look forward to his role as the villainous Luc Crash in The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2004).Soon however, Boreanaz found another compelling small-screen role, playing Special Agent Seeley Booth on the hit detective series Bones.
A.J. Buckley (Actor)

Made his feature-film acting debut in the 1998 teen horror movie Disturbing Behavior, starring Katie Holmes and James Marsden. Has appeared in several sci-fi/horror TV series, including Nickelodeon's Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Fox's The X-Files and Millennium, and the CW's Supernatural. Has a movie and television production company called Fourfront Productions, and is part-owner and frequent contributor to Louisiana's Scene magazine.
Toni Trucks (Actor)

Attended the summer arts camp at Michigan's Interlochen Center for the Arts before transferring to their high school for her senior year. Has extensive theater credits, including roles in productions of Two Gentlemen of Verona, West Side Story and Footloose. Said she was more excited than nervous about being brought into the Twilight movie franchise, landing a role as a vampire in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012). Has supported the restoration of the Vogue Theatre, an old movie theater in her hometown of Manistee, MI.
Jessica Paré (Actor)
Born: December 05, 1982
Birthplace: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Trivia: With a personal story that eerily parallels her first major role as a small-town girl thrust from obscurity into the haute couture world of supermodel divas and the media elite in the media satire Stardom (2000), Jessica Paré remains in the friendly, small-town mindset despite her good fortune of having stumbled into that role on a lark. Born in Montreal, Canada, in 1982, into a close-knit family not at all involved in the showbiz world, Paré decided to pursue an acting career after dropping out of the fine arts program at a Montreal college. Gaining early acting experience with small roles in the made-for-television mafia drama Bonanno: A Godfather's Story and following with En Vacances (both 1999), Paré's breakthrough role came as she auditioned for a small role in Stardom and ended up being cast in the film's leading role based on her inherent innocence and beauty. Though the film closed that year's Cannes Film Festival to mixed reviews, Paré gained good notices and was subsequently cast opposite Piper Perabo in the poetic tale of sexual awakening, Lost and Delirious (2001). Laughingly shrugging off her status as one of the 25 most beautiful people in Canada, Paré prioritized her family life and commented boldly on her refusal to jeopardize her close relationships in favor of a career in film. She would continue to work steadily lading a part in the short-lived TV series Jack & Bobby, the same year she enjoyed leading roles in Wicker Park and The Secret Lives of the Saints. After a few years off-screen, she returned in 2009 in the movies Suck and The Trotsky. After a small, but memorable role in Hot Tub Time Machine (2010, she landed her most high-profile gig to date in 2010 when she was cast in Mad Men as Megan, who would become Don Draper's new wife.
Max Thieriot (Actor)
Born: October 14, 1988
Birthplace: Los Altos Hills, California, United States
Trivia: Life can be tricky for teenagers attempting to establish themselves in Hollywood; thankfully for rising star Max Thieriot, a prominent role in the kid-friendly action adventure Catch That Kid proved just the right catalyst needed to launch an impressive film career. Subsequently nominated for a Young Artist Award as a result of his performance in the 2005 Vin Diesel comedy The Pacifier, Thieriot showed a marked maturity with his role as the son of Billy Bob Thornton's rural stargazer in The Astronaut Farmer the following year. A substantial supporting role in 2007's Nancy Drew was soon to follow, and with parts in the Doug Liman sci-fi thriller Jumper and the high-profile kids flick Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery following in quick succession, speculation that Thieriot might be Hollywood's next golden boy seemed well founded.
Judd Lormand (Actor)
